SISTER ASSOCIATIONS
Beside the college union as the parent body, there are other sister associations such as.

  1. Dramatic Association
  2. Athletic Association

3.D.S.A., and common Room – Association
4. Literary Association
5. Science Association (For Science students only)
6. Humanities Association(For Arts students only)
7.Commerce Association (For Commerce students only)
For each sister Association there shall be one Secretary, one assistant Secretary and one ClassRepresentativefrom  each respective class.
Secretary: -Any member of the student’s union is eligible to content
Asst. Secretary: - Any member of the students’ union reading in the 1st year Degree of    
                            2nd year Degree Classes only is eligible to contest.
The aim, constitution and function of the sister Association shall be as follows:-

        1. DRAMATIC ASSOCIATION
  1. The aim of the Dramatic Association is to promote stage play, theatrical entertainment &

Dramatic activities among the students.

  1. The executive body consists of the Principal as Ex-officio President,Vice – President& Associate Vice-President are to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching

staff, one Secretary to be elected from the degree students, one Asst. Secretary to be  elected
From among the 1st year degree of 2nd year degree classes only and one class representative
From each degree class.

  1. The duty of the executive body is I) to prepare & pass the budget for year , (II) to organize

various competitions and functions of the Association and (III) to stage the Annual Drama. The Activities /affairs of the Association will be exercised by the decision taken by the executive Body.

  1.  I)  The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice-president , arrange all meetings of the

Executive Body & organize various  competitions& functions of the Association.
         ii) He/She shall record &present  the minutes of the meeting.

  1. She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice-President as regards financial matters.

iv) He/She should submit the materials / bills/vouchers/ accounts atc in the office through the vice-
president by 31stjanuary of that session.
v)The Asst. Secretary shall assist the Secretary & be in charge to perform all the function in case of
absence/ inability of the Secretary.
2.ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
a) The aim of the Athletic Association is to promote games & sports activities among the students.
b) The Executive Body consists of the principals Ex-officio President, Vice – President& Association
Vice President to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching staff, one
Secretary to be elected from among the degree students, one asst. Secretary to be elected from
Among the 1styear degree of 2nd year degree Classes only and one class representativefrom each
Degree class.

  1. The duty of the Executive Body is I) to prepare& Pass the Budget for the year, II) to organize various competitions & functions of the Association and II) to organize the Annual Athletic meet.

The activities/affairs of the Association will be exercised by the decision taken by the Executive Body.
d) I) The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice-President , arrange all meetings of the
Executive Body & Organize various Competitions & functions of the Association.
 II) He/She shall record & present the minutes of the meeting
 iii) He/She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice-President as regardsfinancial  matters.
 IV) He/She should submit the materials /bills/Vouchers/accounts etc in the office through the
Vice-Persident by 31st January of that session.
V) The Asst. Secretary shall assist the Secretary & be in charge to perform all the functions 
of absence /inability of the Secretary.
3.D.S.A. & Common Room Association
a)   The aim of the D.S.A & Common Room Association is to take up such cultural activities   which
develop the spirit of fellow feeling and co-operation among the day scholars and to strive to solve
any problems or difficulties of day scholars on account of their remaining outside the college campus.
b)  The Executive Body consist of the Principal as Ex-officio President, Vice-President &Association
Vice-President are to be nominated by the Principal as from among the members of the teaching
staff, one secretarytobe elected from among the degree,oneAsst.Secretary to be elected from
Among the 1st year degree or 2nd year degree classes only one class representative from each
Degree class.

4.LITERRARY ASSOCIATION
a)The aim of the Literary Association is to promote literary activities / sensibilities among the
students.
b)The Executive Body consists of the principal as Ex-officio President, Vice-President &Associate Vice-
President are to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching staff, one
Secretary to be elected from among the degree students , one Asst.Secretarytobeelectedfrom among
the 1st year degree or 2nd  year degree classes only and one class representative from each degree
class.
c) The duty of the Executive Body is (i) to prepare pass the budget for year. (ii) to organized
literary activities like debates, essay,etc.(iii) to organized various competitions of the
Association. The activities / affairs of the Association will be exercised by the decision taken
by the Executive Body.
d) (i) The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice-President , Arrange all meeting of the
         Executive Body & organize various competitions & functions of the Association.
    (ii) He/she shall record & present the minutes of the meeting .
    (iii) He/She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice-President as regards the
Financialmatters.
(iv) He/She should submit the materials /bill/vouchers/accounts etc. in the office through the
Vice-President by 31st January of that session.
    (v) The Asst. Secretary shall assist the secretary & be in charge to perform all the functions
in case of absence / inability of the Secretary.
5. Science Association
a) The aim of the Science Association is to spread scientific Knowledge among the science  students.
b) The Executive Body consist of the Principal as Ex-officio President, Vice-President &Associate
Vice- President are to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the science
teaching staff, one Secretary to be elected from among the degree science students, one Asst.
Secretary to be elected from  among  the 1st year  degree or 2nd year degree classes only and one
class representative from each degree science class.
c) The duty of the Executive Body is (i) to prepare&pass the budget for year, (ii) to arrange lectures
and discussion of scientific interest,(iii) to invite distinguished speakers to deliver lectures on
scientific topics,(iv) to organize excursion to places of scientific interest,(v) to arrange
annual science exhibition,(vi) to organize all competitions and functions of the association. The
activities / affairs of the Association will be exercised by the decision taken by the Executive Body.
d) (i) The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice-President , arrange all meetings of the
         Executive Body & organize various competitions & functions of the Association.
    (ii) He/She shall record & present the minutes of the Meeting.
    (iii) He/She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice- President as regards the 
financial matters.
(iv) He/She should submit the materials/bills/voucher/accountsetc. in the office through the
Vice-President by 31st January of that session.

6. Humanities Association
a) The aim of the Humanities Association is to promote Arts education & literature and to explore
Arts education to acquaint students about the development in humanities.
b) The Executive Body consists of the Principal as Ex-officio President, Vice- President&  Association
Vice-Presidents are to be nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching staff,
one Secretary to be elected from among the degree Arts students, one Asst. Secretary to be elected
from among the 1st year degree or 2nd year degree classes only and one class representative from
each degree Arts class. 
c) The duty of the Executive Body is  (i) to prepare& pass the budget for  year,(ii) to arrange lectures
and discussion of literary, cultural and inter disciplinary nature,(iii) to invite distinguished
speeders to deliver lectures on literary , cultural and inter disciplinary topics,(iv) to organize
excursion to places of literary, cultural and monumental interest, (v) to arrange annual Arts Exhibition,
   (vi) to organize all competitions and functions of the Association. The activities /affairs of the
    Association will be exercised by the decision taken by the Executive Body.
d) (i) The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice-President, arrange all meeting of the
         Executive Body & organize various competitions & functions of the Association.
    (ii) He/She shall record & Present the minutes of the meeting.
    (iii) He/She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice-president as regards the

case absence / inability of the Secretary.
7. COMMERCE ASSOCIATION
a) the aim of the Commerce Association is to promote Commerce education and to acquaint Commerce   
students about the recent developments in the field of commerce.
b) The Executive  Body consists  of  the  Principal  as Ex-officio President, Vice-President& Association 
    Vice- Presidents are tobe nominated by the Principal from among the members of the   Commerce      
teaching  staff, one  Secretary to be elected  from among  the  degree  Commerce  students, one
     Asst. Secretary to be elected from among the 1st year degree or  2nd year degree classes only and
one class representative from each degree Commerce Class.
 c) The duty of the Executive Body is (i) to prepare & pass the budget for year, (ii) to organize the
Annual function of the Association (iii) to organize seminars on E-Commerce, Financial manage-
ment, Advanced tools & Techniques and its application of Financial Analysis, value Added Tax
(VAT) and working Capital Management. The Association also imparts Practical teaching to the
students through study tours,Industrial visits and organize work-shops etc. The activities
of the Association will be exercised by the decision taken by the Executive Body.
 d)  (i) The Secretary shall in consultation with the Vice- President,arrange all meetings of the
           Executive Body & organize various competitions & function of the Association.
      (ii) He/She shall record & present the minutes of the meeting.
      (iii) He/She is responsible to the Principal through the Vice-President as regards the
Financial matters.
(iv) He/She should submit the materials/bills/voucher/accounts etc in the office through 
the Vice-president by 31st January of that session.
      (v) The Asst. Secretary shall assist the Secretary & be in charge to perform all the
